Snapshots of Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby

I recently went to the a local sculpture derby and arts festival in the neighborhood of Kensington. Philadelphians from all over came out to view the hilarious float-like devices and view different collections of artists and vendors along Trenton Avenue. A quick history: “The Kensington Kinetic Sculpture Derby (KKSD), a design competition and parade of human powered vehicle floats, was started in 2007 as an Economic Development Initiative of the New Kensington Community Development Corporation (NKCDC) to compliment the East Kensington Neighbors Association’s Trenton Avenue Arts Festival.” For more information, click here: http://www.kinetickensington.org/
